Tom Esposito

Director, Model Validations

Tommy Esposito is a Director of Model Validation at VBC. Tommy is responsible for performing validations for credit, interest rate and liquidity risk models, as well as new financial model development.  He has authored several articles on risk management topics of interest.

Prior to joining VBC, Tommy spent several years at global banks, leading teams that implemented capital/liquidity metrics at JP Morgan Chase; created all-new loss forecast / LLR models at both Citi and TD; and developed customized ALM/ALCO metrics and FTP modeling at ING Direct.

Tommy is a married father of four children – 3 girls and 1 boy.  He is an active guitarist and singer, playing acoustic, in bands and at his church.  Tommy supports the Ministry of Caring, a nonprofit in Wilmington, Delaware that provides free meals, shelter for the homeless, job training, and medical care for the poor. He has served on multiple nonprofit boards that utilize CRA funds to develop low-income housing.

Tommy received his M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Delaware – Lerner College of Business & Economics.
